A Resort Industry Client approached us to help them understand the
Memphis market. They were looking to open a property, and their IT is run on the
AS400. They needed to understand what kind of local talent was available, so we
were tasked to identify other companies of similar size who used the AS400
technology. At the end of the project, we were able to identify fourteen
companies in the Memphis area using the AS400- which ultimately, the client
engaged our team to then conduct research and they made three hires.
- A Utilities Client approached our team, as they were trying to better
understand how their competitors organized their Communications departments.
They provided us four of their closest competitors, and our team identified the
organizational structure of their Communications organizations, and delivered a
total number of individuals in that department for each competitor. Our client
then analyzed our findings and restructured their own Communications team and
were very pleased with outcome for their company.
- A long time Aerospace/Defense Client was having difficulty hiring
engineering talent in the Kansas area. Our team put together a salary survey,
and did some research into the potential talent pool in the area for the client.
The analyses indicated that our client was not offering an attractive enough
compensation/bonus package to gain interest. The Hiring Manager used these
results to justify to their HR department, which in turn approved a higher grade
level. Ultimately, with this new compensation package, the client was able to
hire the talent required for their needs.
